🏡 Where Are Home Sales Growing Fastest in Greater Houston? While some neighborhoods are experiencing slower sales, others are seeing remarkable growth. HAR’s latest Hottest Communities in the Houston Area report highlights where buyers have been most active during the third quarter of 2026. Leading the way is Huffman Area, where home sales jumped an impressive 166.7% compared to the same period last year, increasing from 63 to 168 transactions. Other communities showing strong growth include: 📍 Needville Area: +80.6% 📍 Sugar Land East: +52.9% 📍 Waller: +45.7% 📍 Humble Area East: +36.7% One of the biggest factors behind these numbers is new construction. In Needville Area, more than 81% of homes sold were newly built, while Waller saw an even higher share at nearly 88%.
